The Dr John Woolcott Scholarship is offered on the basis of academic merit and financial need to an undergraduate student in either the Bachelor of Health Sciences or Bachelor of Nursing. The scholarship will normally be valid for the second and third year of the course, subject to the recipient maintaining a semester average of 70% or more.
Eligibility criteria:
- Academic merit – current course average of at least 70%
- Financial hardship
- Must have completed at least one semester of full-time study (60 credit points)
- Must not have already completed a bachelor degree at ECU or any other university
- Undergraduate bachelor courses
- 2nd year
- 3rd year
- Computing and Health Sciences
- ECU Bachelor of Health Science
- ECU Bachelor of Health Science (Health Promotion)
- ECU Bachelor of Health Science (Safety Science)
- ECU Bachelor of Science (Nursing)
- Australian citizen
- Australian permanent resident
Amount: $1250 (for full time study – pro rata for part time) per semester
